Old Admin Building to become Egan Warming Site

Good afternoon,

I reach out this afternoon to share with you news regarding the school district property at 525 Mill Street. Late last Friday, the City of Springfield contacted school district staff to inquire about the possibility of temporarily accessing the old administration building to serve as an emergency shelter location for the recently displaced Egan Warming Center. Facilities leadership met with Egan Warming Center and City of Springfield staff and following a few minor modifications are happy to share that for the 2018-19 winter season, the building will serve as a temporary
